Edmonton Team Brick

Over the Christmas break a one day camp was held in Calgary for the southern players and a three day camp in Edmonton for the northern players. Between the two camps approximately 60 players attended and 30 were invited to the next step in the process. The next step took place in central Alberta at Bowden. Two teams of 15 players were made up and players attended three skates that were structured as games. From the games the current team of eighteen players was selected. The team attended two skates in Red Deer Alberta for April and now alternates its skates between Calgary and Edmonton . The team has twelve players from Northern Alberta and six players from the south. "TEAM Brick 96"
Cleveland Team Tazmanian

Team Tazmanian is a select group of players from Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio . During the upcoming fall/winter season, the majority of these players will make up the Cleveland Barons 96 AAA team. The invitation to the Brick tournament is a dream come true for these boys! An opportunity to play in this once in a lifetime event makes all the hard work well worth it! The players, families and coaches are looking forward to some great hockey and having alot of fun at the best tournament in North America . Good luck to all!!
Connecticut Yankees

The ’96 Connecticut Yankees is an elite, AAA hockey club comprised of skaters from the greater Connecticut and New York area.The team practices and competes as a cohesive unit that encourages excellence on and off the ice. Although this group skates for different organizations during the regular season, competing in both the Connecticut Hockey Conference (CHC) and Mid-Lantic Youth Hockey Association, most of them have been together for three, consecutive, spring seasons out of Stamford twin rinks in Stamford, Connecticut. Under the guidance of head coach, Steve Riley and assistant coach, Arthur Hahn, the team has competed against other top tier programs at events such as the Minnesota Meltdown, OTTF, Ronald McDonald and their own Connecticut Yankee tournament.
Detroit Little Caesar’s Red Wings

The Red Wings team is made up of players from the metro Detroit area and competes in the winter season as the Little Caesar’s '96 hockey club.Last year, the team finished the season by winning the Championship of the Midwest Elite Hockey League. The players, their parents and the coaches are honored to represent Michigan in The Brick Tournament and would like to thank The Brick for their tremendous support, as well as, the many volunteers for their commitment to making this an experience that will be remembered forever.
Los Angeles Hockey Club

The Los Angeles Hockey Club 96 team is proud to be participating in the 17th Annual Brick Tournament. The fifteen player roster was formed in May for the purpose of traveling to Edmonton this summer. The parents and players would like to thank the tournament volunteers and sponsors for organizing the greatest hockey tournament experience ever and wish all participant teams good luck!
Minnesota Blades

Founded in 1989, the Minnesota Blades AAA Hockey Club is one of the most respected and competitive AAA hockey organizations in North America . The 1996 Minnesota Blades are truly honored to represent Minnesota in the prestigious Brick Hockey Tournament. The Blades organization would like to thank all of the tournament volunteers and organizers for providing these young hockey players a once in a life time opportunity to compete in the Brick tournament. Montreal Ice Storm

The Montreal Ice Storm is extremely proud to have the honour and privilege to be invited to the Brick Tournament and to represent Quebec in this very prestigious hockey event. The 96 team comes to the 2006 tournament to compete, to have fun, and to be good ambassadors of Quebec hockey. The 96 Montreal Ice Storm team was originally formed in the fall of 2002 when the boys were barely capable of skating straight, but Ice Storm Founder and President Richard J. Rusk knew he had found some very talented hockey players nonetheless. The core of this team has been together since: Captain Nathan Medeiros is joined by Daniel Sprong, who moved to from Amsterdam with his family in 2004, Ethan Bassile, Vimal Sukumaran, Gianni Paolo, and Beau Rusk as the veteran members of the team. Also on the team are forward Nick Marois from Blainville in his 1st full season the Ice Storm, goalie Antoine Dagenais from Rimouski , forward Samuel Blais from Montmagny and defenseman Alex Sanfaçon from Quebec City . At press time, a couple of roster spots remain open for the bound team and coach Rusk will announce his final roster by the end of May. Among their many achievements of the past few years, Coach Rusk is particularly proud of the “Triple Crown” which the team earned in 2005. They were Champions at the OTTF Spring Classic in , the Mission Cup tournament in , and the Ronald McDonald tournament in . “We have a lot of talent on this team, but more importantly a lot of character. They play hard and compete in every game to the very end, and they should be a worthy opponent for the many great teams that will get together in ", said Coach Rusk. Saskatchewan Hustlin' Huskies

The Saskatchewan Hustlin’ Huskies are pleased to represent Saskatchewan at the ever prestigious Brick Super Novice Invitational Tournament. We are truly a provincial team stretching from all corners of Saskatchewan . To be able to compete against the best 10 year olds from across North America is truly a great honor and experience. The memories and friendships that go along with this fabulous hockey will be a part of the lives of every participant for years to come. The Saskatchewan Hustlin’ Huskies would like to thank The Brick Tournament Committee, the City of Edmonton , and all those involved in putting this great event together. Toronto Bulldogs

The Toronto Bulldogs Hockey Club is very excited to send for the sixth year, another very talented group of 10 year olds from across Ontario to the Annual Brick Super Novice Tournament. After successfully winning the Brick Tournament twice and being the Tournament finalists twice, the boys and the coaching staff of this years 1996 team have been working very hard to prepare to try to capture another title. These young men are looking forward to the excitement of competing against the best 10 year olds in North America . As last summer, this high level of competition will allow these young players to display their talents in a healthy and exciting atmosphere, which will improve their skills and confidence. From the friendly staff, coaches, parents and players of our Club, we give special thanks to the Brick Tournament Staff for inviting The Toronto Bulldogs to participate in this great Hockey event. Proudly representing Southwestern Ontario , the 2006 Pro Hockey Brick Team was selected from over 70 other talented players who tried out for the opportunity to participate in this prestigious tournament. They are a group of highly skilled, enthusiastic 9 & 10 year olds eagerly awaiting their chance to compete in Edmonton and to create life-long friendships and memories. It is honor, pride and excitement that enables these young athletes (and their parents) to continue into the summer and to spend countless more hours on the ice in preparation for their adventure. Winnipeg Junior Jets

This year the Winnipeg Junior Jets will be represented by the best players from Southern Manitoba at the 2006 Super Novice Brick Hockey Tournament in Edmonton . Players from many of the AAA organizations in Manitoba were invited to try out for the team in the fall of 2005 resulting in a team that is honored to represent the City of Winnipeg and the Province of Manitoba at this prestigious hockey tournament. The Winnipeg Junior Jets once again look forward to playing against the best Super Novice players in North America . It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for these boys to not only compete at a high level, but also provide them with an experience that will have them develop friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.
